About Us
Western Washington University's Student Theatre Productions (STP) produces completely student-produced, performed, and designed work. While many students involved with STP are a part of the Theatre and Dance Department, we welcome students from all majors and minors. Everyone is welcome.

At the beginning of each quarter, STP holds a "theatre kick-off" inviting students to come to learn more about what is going on. After the winter kick-off, we hold a 24hr play festival. So come join the fun and jump right in!

As students, we understand the importance of education and recognize that as theatre artists we are always learning. We welcome questions and inexperienced students that want to learn more about the art of theatre as well as returning students who are eager to share what they have learned with new artists.

We understand that the most meaningful theater and the most authentic relationships come from the free exchange of ideas. We will be open and collaborative and are willing to take risks and believe in the good intentions of others. We demonstrate respect for our fellow artists, volunteers, and the Western Washington University rehearsal and performance spaces. We ask you to join us in our adventure.
